We are sorry to announce that David Glynn died on 3rd May 2026 aged 85.
David was known as a true gentleman and an active Fellow of the College. He was inducted as a Fellow of the ICD in 1981 and took on the role of Secretary General of the Section in 1984, becoming an International Councillor in 1985, ICD World President 1999 and President of the European Section 1995.
In the edition of ICDigest from 2004, David wrote, “There is no doubt that being involved with the College has opened many opportunities to me both socially and professionally over the past 25 years and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has made this so enjoyable.”
Our thoughts are with his wife, Judy, children Amanda and Nicola, brother Jeremy, grandchildren Jack, Malaika, Imani, along with all his friends, many of whom owe their smiles to him.
