Dr. Werner Lill became President of the European Section of the International College of Dentists at the annual meeting in Limassol on 22nd June 2024.
Dr. Lill was born in 1958 and graduated as a Doctor of General Medicine, MD, from the University of Vienna in 1982, receiving his DDS two years later in 1984. He has worked in a private office in Vienna since 1987 and been a lecturer in the fields of oral surgery, periodontology and implantology since 1986. He completed his PhD in Vienna in 1992 and was President of the Austrian Society of Dentistry from 1997 to 2017. Dr. Lill became a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry in 2009 and Regent of the Austrian District in 2012.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Lill enjoys classical music having studied the violin cello at the University of Music and Performing Art, Vienna from 1970 to 1975. His hobbies include sports, cooking and travelling.
